Hello everyone!

Lately, I've been really drawn to creating BIG focal/centerpiece beads in the 25mm to 35mm range and it is quite something to have the amount of molten glass necessary to make one of these on your mandrel all at once... one might find it intimidating, but with practice it becomes quite exciting, actually!

I have a few new focals & focal/bead collections on ebay... please click on the bead collections' titles below to be taken directly to the ebay auctions.

BOLD & BEAUTIFUL FOCAL ::: In my Stuck On Earth design, a BOLD and BEAUTIFUL lentil shaped focal/centerpiece bead with 2 matching rounds... great colors of rich topaz browns and earthy sage greens for Fall and Winter!

There are 3 beads in this collection... to start is a B-I-G, bold and beautiful lentil shaped focal that measures 35mm x 37mm... and... to accompany it, a pair of matching round beads that measure about 6mm x 11mm... all of these beads are decorated on both sides and have been gently etched to a satin matte finish... they are temporarily strung on rattail satin cording and this focal will definitely make a bold and beautiful presentation in your next creation! I made the stringing holes in these a bit larger than usual using 3/16 mandrels.

... and a view of this bead in my hand to show you its true size...

RAKU FOCAL ::: A pretty RAKU rainbow lentil shaped focal in lavenders, purples and rainbow greens and blues.

This focal/centerpiece bead measures about 27mm and is decorated on both sides... it is temporarily strung on rattail satin cording... this focal has a larger stringing hole than my usual... this time I used a 3/16 mandrel, allowing for wire-wrapping or for tying on to one of those oh, so cool Chinese silk knotted necklaces that are all the rage.

EARTHY FOCAL ::: Another Fall and Wintertime lentil shaped focal in my Stuck On Earth design in the beautiful colors of deep topaz and earthy greens... with a matching pair of round beads to accompany it!

There are 3 beads in this collection... to start is a lentil shaped focal that measures about 22mm x 25mm... and... a matching pair of round shaped beads that measure about 6mm x 10mm... all of these beads are decorated on both sides and have been gently etched to a satin matte finish... they are temporarily strung on rattail satin cording... the stringing holes in these beads are a bit larger than usual... I used 3/16 mandrels on these.

GOLDEN HONEY ::: A collection of handmade artisan glass beads in the golden colors of honey and Autumn.

There are 14 beads in this collection... to start, a big and bold lentil shaped focal that measures about 38mm... and to go with it... another matching focal that measures about 25mm... also... 4 more lentil shapes and 8 matching round beads... all of these beads have been ever so gently etched to a satin matte finish and are decorated on both sides... these beads are temporarily strung on ribbons and this strand of beads measures about 5-3/4 inches long, which does not include the largest lentil focal, which is strung separately... these colors are perfect for the Autumn season and will work all year round as well.

SAND & SEA ::: A sweet little collection of handmade artisan lampwork glass beads in the gentle and soothing colors of the ocean... grayish steel blues and sand.

There are 10 beads in this collection... a lentil shaped focal that measures about 25mm with 2 smaller lentil shapes that are about 13mm... and... 2 matching pair of rounds to add to the fun... also included are 3 extra beads that were created to be used as 'danglies' at your clasp, perhaps? Three of these beads have been gently etched to a satin matte finish and have been decorated with fine silver dots... all of these beads are decorated all the way around and are temporarily strung on ribbons... this strand of beads measures about 3 inches long and the little strand of 'danglies' measures about 1-1/8 inches long... these beads were created with a bracelet in mind.

That's it for now... hope your weekend ahead is filled with ALL good things.

Take good care, Gracie
