Hello!

It's been a while since I have updated here... been down with a bad pneumonia bug 'thanng'... but thanks to antibiotics (what did we do before we had these?!), things are getting better now... onward and upward!

On the bead front are a few new auctions on ebay... please click on the bead collections' titles below (the titles are links) and be taken directly to their ebay aucitons.

SOPHISTICATED INNOCENCE ::: A collection of handmade artisan lampwork glass beads created in the colors of delicate ivory and ebony black... the ivory adds the innocence, while the ebony black adds a splash of sophisticated elegance... these beads were created with a bracelet in mind.

There are 9 beads in this collection... lentil shapes ranging in size from about 18mm to about 20mm... these beads are decorated on both sides and have been temporarily strung on ribbons... this strand of beads measures about 6-1/2 inches long.

PLUM GORGEOUS FOCAL ::: A collection of 3 handmade lampwork glass beads in the gorgeous shades of pale to dark plums on a backdrop of earthy, pale rainbow greens, along with a beautiful Chinese knotted silk necklace.

There are 3 beads in this collection... a lentil shaped focal bead that measures about 26mm with 2 matching rounds that measure about 6mm x 10mm... these beads are temporarily strung on a beautiful Chinese silk knotted necklace, which is also included in this auction... the beads are all decorated on both sides and have been cleaned and are already 'temporarily' strung on the silk necklace... I will leave it up to you how you want to finish it off and that is why I did not tie a permanent knot... these Chinese silk necklaces are something else... I am in LOVE with these things... hope you will be, too! The stringing holes in these beads are larger than my usual as I used 3/16" mandrels to create these beads... this size bead stringing hole is good for wire-wrapping and/or to use with these fab Chinese silk knotted necklaces like the one that is included in this collection.

AMBER FOCAL ::: A collection of handmade artisan glass beads in the many and varied golden hues of AMBER... one of my favorite focals to come from my torch in a while... and with its satin matte finish it's quite Soul soothing.

There are 3 beads in this collection... to start, a lentil shaped focal that measures about 25mm... and to go with it... two 6mm x 10mm matching rounds... all of these beads have been etched ever so gently to a satin matte finish... they are all decorated all the way around and are temporarily strung on ribbons... this strand of beads measures about 1-1/2 inches long... the holes in these beads are larger than my usual as I used 3/16 mandrels to create these... great bead stringing hole size to use in wire-wrapping or to tie onto one of the Chinese silk knotted necklaces that are all the rage... please feel free to contact me if you want to know where to buy one of these silk necklaces.

SILVERED ELEGANCE ::: A collection of artisan handmade lampwork glass beads in elegant colors for the Holidays ahead.... khaki and fawn with ebony black and all were created on a backdrop of lavish fine silver... a bracelet for the Holidays (especially New Year's Eve) was on my mind when I created these beads... but these colors will work year round.

There are 6 beads in this collection... all lentil shapes, ranging in size from about 18mm to 19mm... these beads are decorated on both sides and have been temporarily strung on black satin ribbon... this strand of beads measures about 4-1/4 inches long.

STUCK ON EARTH FOCAL ::: An artisan handmade lampwork glass lentil shaped focal bead in my Stuck On Earth design in the soothing colors of rich topaz and earthy sage greens... with a matching pair of round beads.

There are 3 beads in this collection... to start is a lentil shaped focal that measures about 25mm... and... a matching pair of round shaped beads that measure about 5mm x 9mm... all of these beads are decorated on both sides and have been gently etched to a satin matte finish... they are temporarily strung on ribbons... the stringing holes in these beads are a bit larger than usual... I used 3/16 mandrels this time.

That's it for now... hoping you all had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday... we all have much to be thankful and grateful for, don't we? Now, Christmas is right around the corner... is it just me or does time fly?!

Take good care, Gracie
