Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hoping your Thanksgiving holiday brings you much love, peace and happiness, along with good times with family and friends. In other words, I'm hoping your Thanksgiving brings you ALL good things. Steve and I are headed up north to his folks' house for Thanksgiving... a fun time for all... *smile*. There is much to be grateful for and this day is a perfect time to remember just how fortunate we all are.

On the bead front, I have a new Holiday auction up on ebay... ELFIN CHRISTMAS... a collection of mini sized beads this time (along with 2 larger sized beads, created with centerpiece/focals in mind) in Christmassy earthy greens and warm burgundy-rusty reds. These smaller lentil, pillow and pastille shapes are great "bracelet sized" beads.

Talk to you more next week. Until then, take good care.

Bye for now, Gracie :)

Hello all!

Yesterday, I was sitting here at my computer when suddenly, Homey (one of our furry kids) came running through the window by my desk and brought me an early Christmas gift... a mouse!

Homey was so proud of herself and I am told this is quite an honor to have your kitty bring you such a gift. Wish I could have shared her enthusiasm about the gift she brought me. (ha-ha) Quickly I managed to get that poor little mouse back outside and Homey went on about her business. I'm hoping she doesn't think it's Christmas again today... if you know what I mean. Homey is, like, 16 years old and still as spry and full of life as a kitten sometimes. If you multiply 16 years times 7 (I think that's the formula to figure out cat's ages in human years) that makes her 112 years old? Animals are so amazing.

On the bead front, I have added some new beads up for auction in ebay... AUTUMN GATHERING... PATINA... EARTHY... SILVER CITY... and... FALL SHADOWS.

The EARTHY and SILVER CITY auctions are mini collections with seven beads in them and were created with bracelets in mind.

It is becoming very obvious to me that the lentil shape is my favorite shape for beads! I am going to expand my horizons and start using some of the other wonderful bead press shapes that I have around here. The lentil shape is sooooo comfortable to wear with its flatness and that is why it's my first choice. I am, however, pretty darned sure that some of you would like to see something a bit different from time to time.

That's it for now. Take good care and hope your upcoming weekend is a great one!

Bye for now, Gracie

Hello all,

Hoping all is well with you!

A couple of new auctions on ebay... one for the Christmas Holidays called CHRISTMAS WHISPERS done in mellow earthy tones of sage greens, burgundy reds and ivory... and one called NEW YEAR'S EVE dripping in fine silver on backdrops of blacks, grays and champagne... great beads to dress up for those upcoming New Year's Eve parties on the horizon... or... just to wear with a more casual look.

Have a great rest of the week.

Be back soon... bye for now.

G'nite, Gracie

Hello!

Hoping all is well with everyone!

I have a couple of new auctions up for sale in ebay that will run until November 10th... HONEY SAGE, which is a collection of lampwork beads in the wonderful earthy Fall colors of honey, sage green, amber, champagne, ivory and silver... and TURQUOISE TREASURES... sometimes the brighter colors call to me and this time it was the turquoise blues in my palette... a fun bunch of beads in bright turquoise blues.

Christmas is coming so quickly (can you believe it?!)... I don't usually do many holiday themed bead collections, but will do a couple, at least. Soooo, it feels like It's time to turn the torch toward the colors of the holidays.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Take good care, Gracie
