One of the advantages of working with glass (and its many different colors) is that you can create different moods and feelings with color. Lately, I am sooooooo ready for some sunshine and for the Spring season to arrive that the brighter glass colors in my lampworker's palette have been jumping into my hands while I'm behind the torch.

I just listed two new collections of handmade lampwork beads on ebay that will run for three days... GEARED UP in cheery, bright turquoise blues and SPRING CORALS in earthy greens and corals. Great colors to lift one's mood and bring a smile... at least that is how it works for me. *smile*

Hello & Ho Ho Ho...

The happiest of wishes to you ALL for a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

This will probably be my last blog/journal entry before the Christmas Holiday... by the way, I have a few new auctions up on ebay... WINTER PLUM... FADED JEANS... and... ANCIENTS... these auctions will all end by December 23rd... the Faded Jeans and Ancients are smaller collections that were created with bracelets in mind... I LOVE bracelets and tend to be drawn to these smaller collections lately... maybe there are other bracelet lovers out there who like the smaller bead sets?

I have made a promise to myself to be better about offering Specials on my web site again in 2006! I'm still in the recovery phase of that back surgery and find my time behind the torch still isn't up to where I'd like. Hopefully, with the new year, this will change and my Specials will once again be available. That's my plan, anyway.

Just wanted to say that I have added another auction in ebay... this will be my last Christmas themed set of beads for this year because Christmas is almost here!

My new auction is CHRISTMAS JOLLIES and is a collection of handmade lampwork glass beads in my favorite Christmas colors of earthy sage greens and burgundy-rustish reds... these colors remind me of Christmases from long ago... this is a 3 day auction and I want to note that speedy shipping of these beads to the winning bidder in ebay will be of the utmost importance to me because Christmas is so close... speedy shipping will allow enough time to create your Christmas bracelet (or whatever you choose to make with these) to wear on Christmas Eve *smile*. This auction will close on Saturday, December 17th and I plan on shipping these beads out, via Priority mail (faster delivery time), on Monday, December 19th, first thing!

I'm back, as promised, with a new auction on ebay tonight for the lovers of cobalt blue.... COBALT LOVER... there's something special about cobalt blue glass... cobalt blue glass has an inner glow that is next to none in my humble opinion... this is a collection of handmade lampwork glass beads in beautiful cobalt blue with lots of silver to add to the fun... great beads for the casual look with jeans or dress 'em up and go out on the town!

I've put some new auctions up on ebay... I have a new Holiday auction called CHRISTMAS ELEGANCE... a collection of handmade lampwork glass beads in Christmas earthy greens and warm burgundy-rusty reds with hints of ivory... in this collection are three "fancy-schmancy" Santa boot beads and one Elf boot bead all decorated with scrolling all the way around, along with an array of lentil and pastille shapes to accompany them... also... SILVERED TREASURES... a collection in my favorite colors of honey, amber and black that are dripping in fine silver... great beads for the holidays or just for the Winter time.
