Hi all,

Hoping your week has been a good one!

With Spring right around the corner, I've been drawn to the gentler colors instead of my usual earthy browns, blacks and ambers... this week it's been lavendars and purples and I have added a new Springtime lampwork bead collection on ebay.

Here is a link to these beads if you'd like to read about them... SPRING LOVELIES... rainbow purples, lavenders and gentle Spring greens... great beads for the upcoming Spring season and on into Summertime.

Nothing else new in my little corner of the world... hope your upcoming weekend is peaceful and wonderful!

Take good care, Gracie

Hoping all's well with everyone!

Tonight I put a few NEW AUCTIONS up on ebay... lately I've fallen in love with and have been playing a lot with Spring green, earthy sage green and coral together... also in these new collections are some cobalt blues with silver and honey ambers with slate blues... here they are...

COBALT LOVERS: in cobalt blues with silver.
SPRING METALLICS: corals with sage greens and LOTS of fine silver and some awesome copper colors, which occurred through some incredible chemical reactions.
HONEY BLUES: honey amber with slate blues - some of my favorite colors to work with.

Also, I would LOVE to hear what you would like to see in the way of color combinations for beads for the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons...
please email me with your ideas on color at gracie@graciebeads.com or leave a note in my blog here... and thanks in advance for your feedback... I very much appreciate it!

Hopefully, soon I will have some Specials up on my web site.

Take good care and g'nite, Gracie

Hello,

Just wanted to tell you about a new Spring collection of beads I put up on ebay a couple of days ago... HOTS FOR SPRING... a bright and colorful bunch of beads created with Spring in mind, done in corals, oranges and fresh Spring greens. Spring is my favorite time of year when everything is fresh and new! I'd also like to mention that when I photograph orange glass it's a real struggle to get true color... my pictures don't do these beads justice... in 'real life' these colors are so much prettier!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Take good care, Gracie

Hi all,

Hope your NEW YEAR is off to a great start! Steve and I were without Internet access for 5 days... soooooooooooo frustrating! It took our ISP this long to figure out the problem and fix it... but thank goodness they did and we're back! Being without online access made us realize just how much we use the Internet... since we've been offline for the last five days, we are still working on catching up with answering emails... if you haven't yet heard back from us, please know, we're working on it.

On ebay, I have listed a few new auctions... two of them will run for 3 days and one for 7 days... the first new auction in ebay is
RIBBONS... a collection of handmade lampwork glass beads in black with trails of ivory ribbon winding around the beads with 2 encased rounds, created with earrings in mind... next is MOCHA TRIO... a trio of lampwork beads, created with a bangle style bracelet and matching earrings in mind, done in mocha browns, pale champagne and silver... next up is HONEY DENIM created in honey ambers and denim blues with matching earring beads and one little "danglie" created to add to your clasp, perhaps?

Today I did some research on colors for Spring and one of the web sites that I visited was Pantone's... beautiful, yummy, gentle colors on the Springtime horizon... French Vanilla, Sand Dollar, Blue Tint, Cameo Pink, Lily Green, Skyway, Viola, Melon, Clove and Deep Ultramarine... here's a link if you want to see for yourself... http://pantone.com/articles/pdfs/FashColRprt_Spring06_lo.pdf... this is a fun page with lots of great color ideas... their actual color chart for Spring is shown on the last page... hope you enjoy!

That's it for now. Take good care and have a GREAT weekend!
