Good evening!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This is our pumpkin... it is white on the outside and brilliant, gorgeous orange on the inside... I tried to get a picture of it without the camera's flash because it absolutely glowed in the dark and was soooooooo cool... but, alas, my camera's flash was determined to participate in this picture and I couldn't figure out how to turn the darned thing off... you can still see the 'glow aspect' a bit. :)

We had a few trick or treaters visit us tonight... the little ones were just precious, all dressed up in their Halloween customs with BIG smiles on their faces... when we were kids, things were quite different than they are today, though... we ran around with our friends (with no parents tagging along to keep an eye on us), dressed up in our Halloween costumes, trick or treating and having fun, fun, fun... all of these kids that stopped by tonight were accompanied by their parents... and if I had kids, I'm sure I'd be right there with mine, too... things are just very different in this day and age... I was glad to see how involved these parents were in their children's Halloween experience... it warmed my heart and showed how much they loved their little ones.

On to beads... three new auctions in ebay tonight... all three of these are done in the earthy hues of browns, honey amber and topaz on a backdrop of sage greens and match each other perfectly.

EARTHY TEARDROP ::: A handmade artisan lampwork glass teardrop shaped focal/centerpiece bead in earthy hues of sage greens, browns and topaz... the perfect bead for a simple, yet, elegant Autumn necklace!

There are 3 beads in this collection... to start a 18mm (across) x 32mm (high) focal/centerpiece bead in a teardrop shape with 2 matching mini rounds that measure about 6mm x 9mm... these beads are decorated all the way around and have been gently etched to a satin matte finish... they have been temporarily strung on ribbons... this strand of beads measures about 1-3/4 inches long.

EARTHY ::: A collection of handmade artisan lampwork glass beads in earthy shades of browns and topaz on a backdrop of sage greens... these beads are begging to be made into a cool Fall and Winter bracelet!

There are 5 beads in this collection... to start a 25mm lentil shaped focal/centerpiece bead with a pair of smaller lentil shapes that measure about 13mm and a pair of rounds that measure about 6mm x 9mm... these beads are decorated all the way around and have been gently etched to a satin matte finish... they have been temporarily strung on ribbons... this strand of beads measures just shy of 2-1/2 inches long.

EARTHY TOO ::: A collection of handmade artisan lampwork glass beads that were created with a bracelet in mind... they are earthy colors of sage greens, golden honey and topaz.

There are 5 beads in this collection... to start a 25mm lentil shaped focal/centerpiece bead with a pair of smaller puffy pillow shapes that measure about 12mm and a pair of round beads that measure about 6mm x 9mm... these beads are decorated all the way around and have been gently etched to a satin matte finish... they have been temporarily strung on ribbons... this strand of beads measures just shy of 2-1/2 inches long.

I have some new glass that I got and am so excited with the new colors... I'll be adding more new auctions soon in these new colors and also some Specials!

Take good care and I'll be back soon, Gracie

Hello!

The other day I was cruising around in ebay looking at some of my favorite lampworkers' latest creations... I came across THE coolest Chinese knotted silk necklaces that were being sold by Linda of Flame On Glass. I could not resist purchasing one of these because they are the PERFECT way to display a lampwork focal bead... and... with the Holidays right around the corner, I'm thinking what perfect gifts these would make!

Here is a link to Linda's ebay auctions... Flame On Glass... her lampwork beads are absolutely gorgeous too! Hope you check them out... they are very high quality silk necklaces in some of the prettiest color combinations you've ever seen... I am delighted with mine and will definitely be back to buy more of these from Linda.

Here is a picture of what I did with my Chinese knotted silk necklace that I got from Linda... I added a 25mm lampwork bead, with 2 little round beads at top and bottom, tied a knot at the end and it was done!... how easy is that?!... these necklaces have two cords hanging from the bottom, so you can just tie on your favorite focal bead and you're set to go!

That's it for now. I have a new auction that's going up on ebay tonight, so I will be back to add a link to it once it's up and running.

Until then, hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Bye for now, Gracie

I'm absolutely loving this cooler weather... actually, got out my long pants and cowboy boots (my Fall & Winter 'uniform' lol) and have to store away my shorter pants and sandals until Springtime... time to rearrange the closet and bring my Fall and Winter clothes front and center because it's finally cooling off... yeah! I have three new auctions up on ebay... Hello!

As I promised, here a couple of pictures of my two new auctions on ebay of these beads all shown together in the same pictures to show that their colors do, in fact, match.

Yesterday when I took the pictures of my GOLDEN AUTUMN and GOLDEN AUTUMN FOCAL beads, which are two separate ebay auctions, it was late afternoon and the result of my photo session was that the colors of the beads were not true... I have taken a couple of pictures with these two auctions together to show you that they are, in fact, a perfect color match... these pictures were taken outside in full sunlight and show these beads' true colors...

PLEASE NOTE: These are two separate auctions... GOLDEN AUTUMN and GOLDEN AUTUMN FOCAL and are only shown together in these pictures to display their color match... they are not both included in this auction.

Thanks for stopping by... please scroll down my blog/journal page to see the original entries of these two new ebay auctions.

Have a great Sunday!

Talk to you soon and take good care, Gracie
